Reading on Saturday, June 15, 2013 with Adrienne Barrett

Adrienne Barrett is holding the Toronto launch for her wicked new collection, The House is Still Standing, and has kindly asked me to read at her event. From the fine lady herself:

barrettI’m super happy to invite you all to the Toronto launch of my poetry book (The house is still standing, published by the Icehouse imprint of Goose Lane publishing).

Joining me are the intensely talented Stevie Howell, whose poetry collection is forthcoming from Icehouse, and Andrew Faulkner, whose inventive, heartrendingly jaded poems (if poems can be jaded; but you know what I mean) are collected in his book Need Machine – which I love without reservation – recently released by Coach House Books. The golden-voiced Jamie Hofman and fleet-fingered Brian Nelles will be crooning and strumming; and charismatic wordsmith Matthew Tierney will be hosting the whole shebang.

We can’t wait to see you there.

Satuday, June 15 at 2pm, Victory Cafe (in the Annex).
